Directions to Falmouth

Cape Cod From Space

From Boston, New Hampshire & Maine: Take Rte. 3 South to Sagamore Bridge. At the rotary before bridge follow signs to Falmouth & the Islands, which will take you to the Bourne Bridge.

From west of Boston: Take Rte. 128 South to Rte. 24. Take Rte. 24 South to I-495 South (Rte. 25 South) to the Bourne Bridge.

From western Massachusetts, Vermont & Albany, NY: Take Mass. Turnpike to I-495 South (Rte. 25 South) to the Bourne Bridge.

From Providence, RI, Connecticut & New York City: Get to Providence, RI. Pick up I-195 East. Stay on I-195 East to I-495.Take I-495 South (Rte. 25 South) to the Bourne Bridge.

From the Bourne Bridge to Falmouth & the Marathon: Cross Cape Cod Canal on the Bourne Bridge. Take Rte. 28 South (four-lane, divided highway) for approximately 15 miles, at which point the highway narrows down to a two-lane road as you come into Falmouth. Stay on Rte. 28 until you come to a stoplight about 1½ miles. At the stoplight follow signs to the marathon.

From New York City: 5½ hours.

From Springfield, MA: 2½ hours.

Bus Information

There is Bus Service (Bonanza/Peter Pan Bus Lines -- Tel: 617-720-4110:: Web site: www.bonanzabus.com) from Boston, Logan Airport, New York City and Providence directly to Falmouth. Additionally, there is bus service between T.F. Green Airport and Providence on RIPTA(RI Public Transit Authority) that connects with Bonanza. All race activities are located within a mile of the bus station.
Car rentals are available at both airports and in Falmouth.
