 2012 NOVO NORDISK CAPE COD MARATHON HALF INFORMATION
DATE, START TIME, LOCATION: Saturday, October 27 at 7:30 am, Main Street, Falmouth, MA- To view a map of the course, click here.
- Course Description: Basic Loop with some out and back, starting on Main Street and ending in Town Hall Square, on secondary roads with light traffic and on bike path; generally flat except for some rolling hills between miles 6.5 and 9.5; very scenic with sweeping vistas of Nobska Light and Vineyard Sound.
CLAM CHOWDAH CHALLENGE: Runners interested in the Clam Chowdah Challenge (running both the Half and Full Marathons), should go to the Clam Chowdah Challenge page for more information and entry forms. Limited to 250 participants. NOTE!!!: To Register to run the Challenge, you must register ONLY for the Clam Chowdah Challenge which will automatically enter you in both the half and full marathons. DO NOT enter the half and full marathons separately! IMPORTANT NOTE! If you have already signed up for either the half or full marathons and now have decided that you are willing to inflict even more pain on yourself by entering the "Clam Chowdah Challenge" (assuming it has not filled), e-mail the Race Administrator at info@capecodmarathon.com for instructions.

Entry Fee: $55.00 from April 1 to June 15; $60.00 from June 16 to August 31; $70.00 From September 1 on.
Bring up the fillable pdf Half Marathon Entry Form on your computer screen, type your information on the form, print and sign it! (If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, it can be downloaded for free from adobe.com.) Or you may print out a regular entry form and follow the same steps. Send registration fee, payable to Falmouth Track Club and a completed entry form to: Cape Cod Marathon Half, P.O. Box 699, West Falmouth, MA 02574

THE FIELD WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 1100 HALF MARATHONERS WHO ENTER!!! Runners entering the Cape Cod Marathon Half should be well enough trained to complete the course in three hours. After 10:30 am, the course will be closed, and runners who finish after that time may not be scored.
- Number Pick-up: Friday, October 26, 4:30-7pm & Saturday, October 27, 6-7am at Lawrence School, 113 Lakeview Ave, Falmouth, MA 02540
- Parking is available at the school and the municipal lots nearby and in walking distance to the start/finish line. For a map of the race day parking areas, click on this link: Race Day Parking.
- All entrants receive a long-sleeved t-shirt
- All finishers receive a medallion and certificate
- Half marathon entrants must be 14 years of age or older on race day
- Confirmation of entry will be emailed when entry is processed. A letter of confirmation will be mailed if there is no email address. Entrants list will be posted on website and updated regularly.
- Bib number assignment and more information will be emailed out sometime in October.
- The "ChronoTrack B-Tag" system will be used for timing and scoring.

- Open: 14-39
- Senior Master: 50-59
- Master: 40-49
- Veteran: 60 - 69
- Grand Veteran: 70 and over
USATF-NE Membership & Prize Money Eligibility
- Only runners with current USATF membership in place at the start of the race will be eligible to receive prize money. Foreign athletes, competing for prize money, must be currrent members of their national IAAF-affiliated federations at race start to be eligible for prize money. Proof of current membership in either USATF or a national federation must be submitted before the race. For members of USATF, including their membership number on their entry form will suffice.
- All other entrants are encouraged to register with the USATF-NE or their local USATF organization. To register, write or call the New England Association, USATF, P.O. Box 1905, Brookline, MA 02146, 617-566-7600. You may also register on line at www.usatfne.org. A USATF-NE representative will also be present at race headquarters on Saturday to enable runners to register.
- We will not pay prize money to any athlete who has been tested positive for performance enhancing drugs.
